I'm back.

Well I know it's been awhile, but I'm going to start updating more often. I'm going to start putting up some mini reviews for new figures that I get. I've also started messing around with some other things, but we'll see how they pan out. I figured I should add a couple more things that I never actually finish.

Speaking of that I do have a couple of customs in the works that should be finished up soon. They should start coming on regular basis now. I had a bunch of crap going on that was preoccupying me, but it's all good in the hood now.

Well, on to the business at hand. First up are a couple of quick reviews for some of the new Vintage line of Star Wars figures. These things are my new crack, I can't get enough of them.

Jango Fett:

This is a really nice figure, but nothing really new. It's basically just a re-release of previous Jango's. That said he has some new touches like a really well done cloth poncho, a pilot's head set for flying Slave 1, and new gauntlets. This figure was great when it came out, but suffers a little from the ridiculously high quality output on the vintage line. My biggest beef is he's a little out of proportion due to the non ball joint hips. Mind you these are very minor gripes about an all around fantastic figure.

Zam Wesell:

This figure was a big surprise for me. I wasn't even sure that I was going to pick her up at first, but decided to once I saw her in person. I don't really care about the character one way or the other, but this is just a well made toy. See packs two different heads, a removable helmet with two different detachable scarves, a sniper rifle, and a blaster with a holster. The best part is that all of these things are really well integrated and blend in perfectly. Plus it's always nice to get an all new figure. A definite stand out in the Attack of the Clones wave.

Clone Trooper (Phase I):

This one is actually from a couple waves after The Attack of the Clones wave, but he's worth the wait. This is an absolutely incredible figure. It's an all new super articulated Clone and it delivers on every front. The sculpt is sharp, the paint is clean, and the articulation is well integrated. It has me giddy over the fact that the upcoming Captain Fordo from the Clone Wars micro series is based on this Clone body. He's a favorite of mine and this Clone is one of my favorite new figures.

That's it for now. I have a few more to do, I've been buying way too many of these, so those with be forthcoming. I'll leave you with a couple of pictures of some of the stuff I've been wasting my time on.

This was just a little test to see if I could pull off some realistic scenery. I want to start making some small display bases like this. I also wanted to play around with the realistic water stuff, so I could use it in my next custom.

I want to start playing around with staging more elaborate pictures with my figures. This was just me screwing around and seeing how it turned out.
